beenaa sabad vajaavai jogee darsan roop apaaraa.
Maharaj Ji says that one of the faces of Satguru is jogee, who is one with the Divine, and He plays the unstruck music, the Celestial Music. One who starts hearing the Anhad Shabad, remains in the womb of the Guru by continuously hearing the Anhad Shabad; the Guru transforms that consciousness and makes them their true self.
beenaa sabad vajaavai jogee darsan roop apaaraa.
When we read the letters from the sangat, the purpose is that we can see how those souls reached where they are on this path. Last time, we read a letter from Edmonton where the writer says that they listen to the latest Khajana Darshan with very focused consciousness, at least twice a day and listen to at least two other Khajana Darshans from previous deewans from 10-15 years ago, daily. The mind will say they must have a lot of time. This sangat works during the day and keeps listening to Anhad Shabad all the time. The difference is that they set a goal that I have to do this and made it a top priority. They also mentioned that I keep longing for the dust of the feet of sangat. She says that now it’s my prayer to the Divine, that I may keep hearing the divine Celestial Music, day and night, and thus go beyond the thinking consciousness, become the real self, and become one with God. And when I hear Khajana Darshan, I start hearing the sound of saaN, saaN and I start feeling the Divine at the heart area in an anticlockwise direction. That is actually the sound of cymbals.
Please focus intently at the heart area. This is the reason for reading the letters so we see what these souls are experiencing.
beenaa sabad vajaavai jogee darsan roop apaaraa.
jinH pee-aa say masat bha-ay hai tootay banDhan faahay.
That the Guru is a jogee, who plays on the flute. He says that those who drink this Celestial Music become intoxicated and their consciousness becomes free of attachment, and ego.
jotee jot samaanee bheetar taa chhoday maa-i-aa kay laahay.
In that intoxication, one sees that I am light and I am connected to the Divine Light, like the ray is connected to the sun. When the day is about to end, the sun calls all the rays back. Then rebirth happens and the rays come out of the same sun and reach the earth. Please practice hearing the Celestial Music to stay in the womb of the Satguru. We are going to be reborn out of the Satguru, and we will see that I am a soul; a deep, all-knowing soul that is connected to the Divine.
If thoughts are coming, say we are thinking about India, then our consciousness is in India; we cannot hear the Celestial Music being played here. It’s impossible.

How come you still haven’t woken up! How come you are still not angry with the mind who has kept you asleep throughout the ages, and throughout every life! It was your mind who had put you to sleep; who had created a discord with your beloved. How come it was okay for you to remain asleep!
There is a question from a sangat in Kuala Lumpur, and originally from China.
Is pure consciousness all there is?
Buddhism is prevalent in China. God made Mahatma Buddha experience his soul (aatmaa) but he did not have darshan of Parmaatmaa (the Divine). Their name was Siddhaartha but was called Buddhaa because Buddha means aatmaa (soul).
tithai gharhee-ai surat mat man buDh.
The consciousness (surtee) is transformed, the mind moves away and the aatmaa (soul) is revealed. This question comes from that understanding. Is pure consciousness all there is?
There is pure consciousness that is our soul, plus God. It’s not just pure consciousness. There are souls and God.
In the first paurhee of Japji Sahib, Maharaj Ji says:
ਕਿਵ ਸਚਿਆਰਾ ਹੋਈਐ ਕਿਵ ਕੂੜੈ ਤੁਟੈ ਪਾਲਿ ॥
kiv sachi-aaraa ho-ee-ai kiv koorhai tutai paal.
God blessed us with this human body. It is like a cloth, a curtain, a veil, and behind this veil is your true self. In the first paurhee, Maharaj Ji says the veil of the body on the soul is temporary; it’s false, it’s not going to remain forever. Behind this veil is the truth that remains forever. How will this veil of falsehood be removed?
The second question is:
Is pure consciousness still within the dream of humanity?
It is a beautiful question. Can the whole of humanity dream about realizing their soul?
Absolutely, Maharaj Ji’s message is for the whole of humanity. Sure, they can but because of the attachment to ego we have become blind; our consciousness has become impure and we dream about other things, but we do not dream about realizing our soul.
Please stay feeling the Divine at the hirdaa, and hear saaN saaN at the ears.
jo jo deesai so so rogee.
rog rahit mayraa satgur jogee. ||1|| rahaa-o.
One of the graceful faces of the Guru is Jogee.
Maharaj Ji says the entire creation is diseased, and only the Satgur Jogee is free of disease.

Man was given the disease of ego. The firefly has the disease of seeing; it sees the light and runs towards it and dies in it.

jihvaa rog meen garsi-aano.
The fish has the disease of tasting. When the fishermen offer bait to a bigger fish, it puts it in her mouth to taste it and gets caught in the process.

He says the biggest disease that humanity has is the disease of ego and the disease of attachment.
rogay martaa rogay janmai.

He says ego, and attachment consumes people’s lives.
bin satgur rog kateh na jaavai. ||3||
Maharaj Ji says that without the Guru, one cannot become free of the diseases of ego and attachment.

paarbarahm jis keenee da-i-aa.
baah pakarh rogahu kadh la-i-aa.
Maharaj Ji says that when the true Guru puts you in His womb, and makes you hear the Celestial Music, He makes you drink the Celestial Music, and that is the medicine for ego and attachment, and you become undiseased.
tootay banDhan saaDhsang paa-i-aa.
kaho naanak gur rog mitaa-i-aa.
Maharaj Ji says that those who are blessed enough to have the Holy Congregation, only they are given the rebirth, and they are taken out of the cycle of birth and death.
Our true self is extremely compassionate. Our true self, our soul, is so compassionate that it feels the pain of others- those who are asleep. It feels the pain that they are wasting their lives, and you become sad.

Don’t know after how many lifetimes again we are given this opportunity to realize the true self, and become liberated
I don’t know how I can convince my dear ones that after how many ages we have received this opportunity to be liberated.

Please don’t say that these sadnesses are bad. No! They are so beautiful! They have come from the village of my soul.
Dhaarnaa (end)
The question was: what is the inner voice, and how to hear it?
Ninety-nine percent of our consciousness is occupied by the knowledge which we have borrowed from outside. Only one percent consciousness is available, and that one percent carries the voice of our soul, but is there any chance of hearing that one percent? That one percent remains drowned in the other ninety-nine percent.
That is why sometimes we hear a voice from within telling us that it is okay to do something; that is the voice of our soul but because it is buried in the other 99%, at the same time the mind presents doubt. We never fully believe that this is the voice of my soul because there is no space left for the soul to operate.
Because the consciousness has been occupied with the outside world and there is no connection to the inside, we have become dependent on others. People say you are very smart; it was not the voice of our soul. Someone says, you seem off, and we start thinking about it. We have become so dependent on others that we live our life according to their opinion. Children who are in high school have no idea which field to pursue because there is no connection to the inside and they keep asking everyone on the outside. We must rediscover our true self through rebirth. Only then we can hear our inner voice.
We have heard the moon is very beautiful. The moon comes out at night. If we really felt it was beautiful, wouldn’t we go out and appreciate its beauty? It is not our true feeling; it is just information we have collected from the outside.
If we find something attractive - a person, a house, a car, it will pull our consciousness; it will disconnect us from our true self. Anything that the mind finds beautiful disconnects us from our true self, and we cannot hear our inner voice in that state.
When we say, the moon is so beautiful that is not our inner-inner voice; it is borrowed knowledge from the world. Only our true self can see and recognize the beauty in nature. When our true self sees the moon, it is amazed at how beautiful it is. Notice that even light can make us unpeaceful. If you are sitting peacefully and meditating in a dark room and someone turns on the light, it will disturb your consciousness. If you are watching TV and trying to sleep, the light in the TV will keep you awake. When our true self sees the moon, it is amazed that even though light usually disturbs our consciousness, the light of the moon brings a feeling of peace. How amazing it is!
kudrat kar kai vasi-aa soi
Maharaj Ji says, see the nature - a flower, tree, flowing water, moon, stars; the Divine dwells in them.
vakhat veechaaray su bandaa hoi
The ones who come in the present by looking at nature can truly appreciate the beauty of nature. Looking at nature turns us towards meditation; it helps integrate our consciousness and brings us into the present.
Dhaarnaa:
tharamaa santusht-taa adol-taa hamdardee….pukh-taa zindagee day nay chin chanaa
ਠਰੰਮਾ (tharamaa) - patience
ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟਤਾ (santusht-taa) - contentment
ਅਡੋਲਤਾ (adol-taa) - unwavering
ਹਮਦਰਦੀ (hamdardee) - compassion
To be patient, content, unwavering, and compassionate, are the signs of a noble life.

We should always remain looking within, and seeing how much of our insides have become love. How much of our inside is full of love, and how much is empty, untouched.
