ੴ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥

ਆਦਿ ਸਚੁ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਸਚੁ। ॥ ਹੈ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹੋਸੀ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ॥
My daughter, Dr. Sumaira said that in order to know who Guru Nanak is we have to dive deep into His utterances.
We are talking about rebirth.
ਧੰਨੁ ਸੁ ਵੇਲਾ ਘੜੀ ਧੰਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਮੂਰਤੁ ਪਲੁ ਸਾਰੁ ॥
Dhan so vaylaa gharhee Dhan Dhan moorat pal saar.
So blessed are the times, so blessed is the hour, and so fortunate and precious is the moment
ਧੰਨੁ ਸੁ ਦਿਨਸੁ ਸੰਜੋਗੜਾ ਜਿਤੁ ਡਿਠਾ ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸਾਰੁ ॥
Dhan so dinas sanjogrhaa jit dithaa gur darsaar.
And so blessed is this day, in which I can behold my True Guru. This is the day when this union happened; how blessed is this day!
In order to become one with the Divine, and then become dissolved in Him (Tuhee, Tuhee, Tuhee), the rebirth is must. This story starts with the meeting of the True Guru, and the True Guru makes us become wedded with the Divine. Fully focused at the navel point, please feel the movement at the navel point.
ਨਾਭਿ ਕਮਲ ਮਹਿ ਬੇਦੀ ਰਚਿ ਲੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨ ਉਚਾਰਾ ॥
naabh kamal meh baydee rach lay barahm gi-aan uchaaraa.

He says, make the True Guru sit on a throne at the navel point and then recite the truth. Please feel some presence there, some power - that is the Satguru, the True Guru.
ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਸਿਉ ਭਾਵਰਿ ਲੈਹਉ ਆਤਮ ਤਿਹ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੀ ॥
raam raa-ay si-o bhaavar laiha-o aatam tih rang raatee.
He says now take the marriage vows, take the rounds with the Lord, the True King.
Please become totally silent, peaceful, and feel a power moving around the navel point, in an anti-clockwise direction.

ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਸਿਉ ਭਾਵਰਿ ਲੈਹਉ……..ਰਾਮ ਰਾਇ ਸਿਉ ਭਾਵਰਿ ਲੈਹਉ
raam raa-ay si-o bhaavar laiha-o………raam raa-ay si-o bhaavar laiha-o
Recite these 4-5 words as we complete one round of marriage with the Divine; as we start feeling Him, moving around the navel point, and us following Him. Please keep taking the rounds with the Beloved.
A daughter of mine wrote this poem:
ਜੀਅ ਕਰਦਾ, ਤੇਰੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਅੰਦਰ, ਕਿਤੇ ਅਲੌਕਿਕ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੋ ਆਵਾਂ
I feel like going somewhere at the most wondrous place and then coming back.
ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾ, ਤੇਰੇ ਸੋਹਿਲੇ ਗਾ-ਗਾ, ਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਤਪਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਠੰਢ ਬਣਾਵਾਂ
And by going there and singing Your glory, I make my insides peaceful, cool.
ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾ, ਅਨੰਦ ਪੂਰਾ ਮਾਣਾਂ, ਸਾਰੇ ਫਿਕਰ ਮੁਕਾ ਆਵਾਂ
By going there, I celebrate the bliss, and become worry free.
ਭਰ ਝੋਲੀਆਂ, ਇਸ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ, ਤੇਰੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਆ ਜਾਵਾਂ
Then making my mind full of His blessings I return back to this world.
Ji, it is a nice thought but seems like you heard “ਹੋ ਆਵਾਂ (ho aavaaN) from some song. Whoever goes there does not return. Why go there if we want to return? Why waste the time? Betay, whoever goes there does not return. Our soul remains inside. God fulfills our innermost noble desires provided it does not harm anyone else.
There is another letter:
Baba Ji, I wanted to ask you; you have told us in Khajana Darshan that we can see colors inside. When I focus inside, I feel coolness; my face and forehead become numb. What is this?
Betay, this is the Divine presence. The forehead which was occupied by the mind, planning schemes, now the Divine came there and it became peaceful, silent, numb.
She says sometimes with open eyes I see the Divine light falling just like rainfall. That’s exactly how it happens.
Then she says that sometimes I even see the Divine light close to the eyes but why don’t I see Divine light with closed eyes?
Betay, the Divine light has now come into your eyes; that is why you don’t see the Divine light with closed eyes. With closed eyes, you will feel a power that is moving in the eyes; that is His Divine light. That will remain with open or closed eyes. Now, it is the light that sees, not the eye.
Few days ago, we read a few lines of a beautiful poem that a sangat wrote.
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਜੋ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਏ…..ਦੱਸ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਕਰਾਰ ਲਿਖਾਂ
tainoo vaykh jo mildaa ay…..das kivayN oh karaar likhaaN
The peace I feel just by beholding You is indescribable.
ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ…..ਦੱਸ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਲਿਖਾਂ
jis din milay saaN aseeN dovayN……das kivayN oh ti-o-haar likhaaN
How festive was the day, the moment when we met for the first time.
ਹਰ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ……ਦੱਸ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਮੈਂ ਯਾਰ ਲਿੱਖਾਂ
har mushkal vich jo naal huNdaa…..das kivayN oh maiN yaar likhaaN
That my Beloved who is always there for me, with me, even in difficult times, cannot be described.
ਜਿੰਨੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ……ਦੱਸ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਉਹਦਾ ਉਪਕਾਰ ਲਿੱਖਾਂ
jiNnay maNday noo chaNgaa kar ditaa…..das kivayN oHdaa upkaar likhaaN
He the one who has transformed me from a low being to a noble being, most unselfish act, act of compassion. How to put that into words?
ਪਿਆ ਇਸ਼ਕ ਜੋ ਕੀਤਾ ਆਜਾਦ ਮੈਨੁੰ….ਦੱਸ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਛੁੱਟਕਾਰ ਲਿੱਖਾਂ
pi-aa ishq jo keetaa aajaad mainoo…….das kivayN oh chhutkaar likhaaN
Making me drink ishq, you have liberated me from the time. How can I express that?
ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਖਰਾਂ ਬਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ…..ਦਸ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਲਿੱਖਾਂ

Maharaj Ji blessed one of the manjees (cots) to Bhai Manak Chand Ji. When this well called Baoli Sahib in Goindwal Sahib was being dug, a hard stone came and could not be bored, put the bore below that. Maharaj Ji asked Bhai Manak Chand Ji to go and break that. He went, recited Moolmantar and Dhan Guru Nanak, thrusted the gaintee (pick - a digging tool) with such force that the block was broken. The water came up so fast that Bhai Manak Chand Ji drowned in it. Everybody said that he had died. Maharaj Ji said he has not died, he is alive. So, the sangat brought him out and put him in front of Maharaj Ji, and he became alive again. Maharaj Ji blessed him with one cot to preach this path.

nee baag maa-ay sajanaa daa….. jeeHday vich dunee, maiN, tay oh aap
From July 25 deewaan: Oh, my mother, this universe is the garden of my Beloved, in which there is His creation, me and Him.
ਉਹਦੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਇਉਂ ਲੱਗਦੀ…..ਜਿਉਂ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਉਹ ਲਿੱਖ ਹੈ ਰਿਹਾ
oHdee kudrat i-oN lagdee….ji-oN kavitaa oh likh hai rihaa
From July 25 deewaan: He keeps on creating His new creation and demolishing the old. As He is creating His new creation, I feel as if He’s writing a song.
ਅਨਦਿੱਸਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ…..ਲੱਖ ਕੋਟ ਬਲੌਰੀ ਸਤਰਾਂ

balouree - means very beautiful
satraaN - lines
From July 25 deewaan: His hands are invisible, but with His invisible hands, He is writing millions of so beautiful lines of that poem of His creation. Everything, every new grass leaf is a new word of the line of that poem.
ਬੋਲੀ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਇਸ਼ਕੇ ਦੀ…….ਤੇ ਚੁਫੇਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਸਤਰਾਂ
bolee kavitaa dee ishkay dee…..tay chufayri-aaN noo jaan satraaN
From July 25 deewaan: The lines of this poem are not from left to right, or from right to left, but they are downwards, upwards, leftwards, rightwards. The root of a tree is downwards, tree is upwards, the branches are leftward, rightward.
ਕੁੱਝ ਕੱਲ ਲਿੱਖੀਆਂ, ਕੁੱਝ ਪਰਸੋਂ, ਤੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਹੁਣੇ ਹੁਣੇ ਲਿੱਖ ਹੈ ਰਿਹਾ
kujh kal likhee-aaN, kujh parsoN……tay kujh hunay hunay likh hai rihaa
He created some things the day before yesterday, some yesterday, and some right now.
ਨੀ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਉਹਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਵਿਤਾ…ਜੀਹਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਰਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਆਪ
nee maiN vee oHdee haaN kavitaa…jeeHday vich oh rali-aa hai aap
I am also His poem; a poem in which He Himself is present.

Maharaj Ji says:
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਬਾਜੈ ਸਬਦੁ ਅਨਾਹਦੁ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਮਨੂਆ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
gurmat baajai sabad anaahad gurmat manoo-aa gaavai.
The sound that is produced by the collision of two objects is the aahat sound. The sound produced by God Himself is anaahat; it is not produced by striking any object. It’s His play; He produces a sound Himself, it’s a song of ishq.
gurmat manoo-aa gaavai.
He says that when we sing with the understanding given by the Guru. What is the understanding that the Guru gives us?
gaavee-ai sunee-ai man rakhee-ai bhaa-o.
Sing with immense love and hear with immense love and devotion - that is how we sing with the understanding given by the Guru. Listen to your own voice while focusing on the ears, and when you become quiet you would hear the sound of saaN saaN.
gurmat manoo-aa gaavai.
Please hear the Celestial Music. Initially it will feel like plain saaN saaN.
Many of you have written to me that whenever you wake up during the night, or at Amrit Vaylaa, the Celestial Music is so strongly heard.

aDhee raatee khaabaaN vich…aankay jagaavay jirhaa… samajh naa aavay mainoo kaun nee
ਫਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਿੱਚ ਸਾਨੂੰ….. ਅਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਚ’ ਲੈ ਆਵੇ……ਚਾਹਵੇ…. ਇੰਨਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੋਚਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕੌਣ ਨੀ
farshaaN toN khich saanoo……arshaaN ch’ lai aavay…..chaaHvay….iNnaa saanoo sochdee haaN koun nee
Usually the worldly consciousness dwells at the navel point, or below the navel point but He picks me up from there and brings me in the skies, at my forehead, or on my ears. Who loves me so much? Who cares for me so much that He doesn’t even sleep during the night; He keeps sitting by my bed, wakes me up at night, and makes me hear this. Who loves me so much?
