2503 - Khajana Darshan October 8, 2022 – Malaysia (English Translation)
Transliteration Key for Gurbani
ੴ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥
॥ ਜਪੁ॥
ਆਦਿ ਸਚੁ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਸਚੁ। ॥ ਹੈ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹੋਸੀ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ॥
Let us come to the hirdaa please, at the heart area.
God has blessed us with the human body as well as human consciousness. The consciousness is most important; our body is alive because of the consciousness in it, and in this consciousness of ours, God himself is hidden. Wherever our consciousness goes, God goes with that. If we are sitting here and our consciousness goes to India, God goes with it. Would we ever be able to hide any of our thoughts from God ?
ਜਹ ਜਹ ਮਨ ਤੂੰ ਧਾਵਦਾ ਤਹ ਤਹ ਹਰਿ ਤੇਰੈ ਨਾਲੇ ॥
jah jah man tooN Dhaavdaa tah tah har tayrai naalay.
Our biggest hunger is not for food, it is the hunger for love. Hunger to be loved, hunger to be cared for, hunger to be wanted. Because we brought this consciousness outside, it looks for love outside but what it gets is attachment, which is a source of misery. Love supports our consciousness; it gives support to us, and we are the consciousness. Maharaj Ji says:
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਨਿਵਾਰੈ ਸੂਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਸਾਧਾਰੈ ॥
janam janam kay dookh nivaarai sookaa man saDhaarai.
He says that only the love that attaches with the consciousness can support you. That is why when we connect with the Divine within, we see that His love supports our consciousness. It is a delusion to look for love from the outside in a person. Maharaj Ji not only fills us with love by keeping us connected with Him, but He makes us an image of love! Staying grounded in this truth is the foundation and it changes everything.
ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕੇ ਦੂਖ ਨਿਵਾਰੈ ਸੂਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਸਾਧਾਰੈ ॥
janam janam kay dookh nivaarai sookaa man saDhaarai.
God gives the purest, the highest, the most potent support to our consciousness. So, when we feel the Divine within, our consciousness is attached to Him and receiving His support. God’s love is our only support, and can be our only support. There can be no other support from the outside for our consciousness.
maanukh kee tayk barithee sabh jaan.
Maharaj ji says that to expect support from others is useless; that expectation is wrong because you cannot connect your consciousness with anyone on the outside; you cannot feel it. So it’s God who gives us the support of love; by continuously dwelling with Him, He fills us with love. He makes us love itself!
We have been seeing the merciful faces of the Satguru. In the previous days we saw His face of a brother, sister, saakee (one who pours the drink), sakhee sahaylee (sister friend). Another merciful face of the Guru is that of a heartfelt friend (jigree yaar). Let’s see what the Satguru says when He takes on the merciful face of a heartfelt friend.
ਸੁਣਿ ਯਾਰ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਸਜਣ ਇਕ ਕਰਉ ਬੇਨੰਤੀਆ ॥
sun yaar hamaaray sajan ik kara-o baynantee-aa
ਤਿਸੁ ਮੋਹਨ ਲਾਲ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਹਉ ਫਿਰਉ ਖੋਜੰਤੀਆ ॥
tis mohan laal pi-aaray ha-o fira-o khojantee-aa.
mohan - one who entices the mind; laal - very precious, dear
I have been wandering and searching for that mesmerizing, most precious beloved of mine, but I haven’t found Him anywhere.
ਤਿਸੁ ਦਸਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਿਰੁ ਧਰੀ ਉਤਾਰੇ ਇਕ ਭੋਰੀ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
tis das pi-aaray sir Dharee utaaray ik bhoree darsan deejai.
I have been wandering and searching for my Beloved Lord, I have not been able to find Him anywhere. I have come to your doorstep and I have a humblest begging to do. I have heard that you know where God lives, and you have the power to unite others with God. I have put my head at your feet. I don’t ask for much, even if I can have His darshan (blessed sight) for a moment.
ਨੈਨ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਰੰਗ ਰੰਗਾਰੇ ਇਕੁ ਤਿਲੁ ਭੀ ਨਾ ਧੀਰੀਜੈ ॥
nain hamaaray pari-a rang rangaaray ik til bhee naa Dheereejai.
When I put my head at your feet, i.e. I stopped thinking and just started doing whatever you told me. Because of that now my eyes are imbued with the love of my Beloved. And now I cannot wait for even a moment to have His sight.
ਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਜਨੁ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਆ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਅੰਧੇਰ ਬਿਨਾਸੁ ॥
gi-aan anjan gur dee-aa agi-aan anDhayr binaas
Ji, the hurts we experienced from life, it is important for those hurts to be eliminated otherwise they won’t let us go within. There is only one way, through meditation; pray to Him that please keep me in the present. Only God is present in the present and there are no hurts or sorrows.
Dhaarnaa:
ਨੀ ਮਾਏ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀ ਕਰਦਾ, ਗ਼ਮ ਕੁਲ ਸਖੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੀ ਜਾਵਾਂ
nee maa-ay mayraa jee kardaa, gam kul sakhee-aaN day pee jaavaaN
ਰੋਂਦੀਆਂ ਰੋਂਦੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਸੌਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ, ਮੱਥੇ ਹੱਥ ਧਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਾਵਾਂ, ਨੀ ਮਾਏ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀ ਕਰਦਾ
rondee-aaN rondee-aaN jo sauN ga-ee-aaN umeedaaN, mathay hath Dhar ohnaa noo jagaavaaN, nee maa-ay mayraa jee kardaa
I had so many beautiful dreams and hopes but with time those dreams and hopes, they kept waiting and waiting and then they went to sleep.
ਸ਼ਰਾਬਖਾਨੇ ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਦੇ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ, ਸੁੱਚੇ ਆਬਦਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਵਾਂ, ਨੀ ਮਾਏ ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀ ਕਰਦਾ
sharaab khaanay oh jhooth day kadh kay, suchay aabadaar naal milaavaaN, nee maa-ay mayraa jee kardaa
Outside are the drinks of falsehood, lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride. I feel like taking those drinks of power, wealth, and all that, out of the worldly drinking place and making them meet with the server of true wine, the precious, pure wine, the precious, pure intoxicant.
Ji, three of my sons wrote this letter together. They are in their mid 20’s to reaching 30; they are one of the most beautiful souls.
Dear Baba ji,
We thank Maharaj ji a millions of times for all the precious moments we got to spend in the sangat. We look at the photos and feel such a deep, grace. We are grateful to Maharaj Ji that normal people like us who are absolutely nothing and worth garbage got to spend the time in this sangat. No matter where we go or where we are, we can feel Maharaj Ji’s loving presence. He embraces us with the Anhad Shabad throughout the day and puts us to sleep in it at night. He also gives us the opportunity to do Nitnem (daily prayers) and listen to Khajana Darshan, and bless us with sangat everywhere we go. Maharaj ji blessed us with the most precious jewel that no money in this world can buy.
We always want to appreciate it and take such good care of it. Maharaj Ji is our whole world; without Him, we are nothing! We thank Him so much for picking us with His own hands, and bringing us to this amazing sangat. We can’t express or explain how lucky we feel; no one in this world can ever understand. He always keeps such a loving watch over us. He took such a high responsibility; what would have happened to people like us, we would have been so lost in maya. In the future, when we will look back 30-40 years from now, we will be crying so much that we were so privileged to sing and dance in this sangat. People would talk about this sangat, and would have wished to ever be blessed to do this sangat once.
With Maharaj Ji’s grace we were able to complete 7000 Japji Sahib, 15000 Moolmantars together, and do Nitnem and listen to Khajana Darshan everyday. This Gurpurab we are going to give sweets to our neighbors, workplace and school, and share the message of oneness with everyone, and hope to make this day shine for the entire humanity.

Maharaj Ji keeps showering His grace all the time but we can never understand His ways, how He operates. When we were in Michigan America, during the month of July, we were there only for one week, and a sangat from Ukraine who was there and they attended a couple of Khajana Darshans, and the last day, they were kind enough to let me have their sight. They could hardly speak English. And a couple hours ago, I received a phone call from our sangat in Michigan, that that sangat from Ukraine has booked their tickets for India and they are coming there, reaching there on November 5th. It’s amazing how merciful our beloved Lord is.

ਮੇਰੇ ਰੰਗਲੇ ਦੇਸ ਦਿਆ ਰਾਹੀਆ, ਦੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਾ ਜਾ ਯਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ
mayray raNgalay days di-aa raahee-aa, do gallaN sunaa jaa yaar dee-aaN
ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਉਹ ਬਸਤੀ ਅੜਿਆ, ਤੇ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਇਖਲਾਕ ਵੇ
kiho jihee oh bastee arhi-aa, tay kiho jihay ikhlaak vay
There, in that land if you will, my true self and the Divine dwell there. How do they live there? What type of habitat is that?
ਪਿਆਰ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਕਿੰਝ ਦੇ ਉੱਥੇ, ਤੇ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਕ ਵੇ
pi-aar muhabat kinjh day othay, tay kiho jihay oh saak vay
How is their relationship with each other? Please tell me because I have never heard anything, I have never been there, I only know the relationships outside.
ਕਿੰਝ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਅੜਿਆ, ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਕਾਰਦੀਆਂ
