2576 - Khajana Darshan May 2, 2023 – Bolivia (English Translation)

ੴ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥
॥ ਜਪੁ॥
ਆਦਿ ਸਚੁ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਸਚੁ। ॥ ਹੈ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹੋਸੀ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ॥
He says it has only been the truth, Dios, it is only Dios, and it’s only going to be Dios, God. All this is His creation; He Himself is manifesting in different forms, through different ways.
In all His creation, He is manifesting Himself in four ways: through the womb, through the eggs, through vegetation, and through perspiration. He is manifesting Himself through these four ways, and we are part of His creation. So humans too, it is Him manifesting Himself as humans. So this is all Him. We just have been fooled by Him to play the game. Through society we are given the idea that we are, we do exist, and we are separate from everything else, and our existence is independent.
So this is how He has created the game. He gives us the idea that you are, and we believe that because we love it that we are. Then He says, now the game is to find Me. But He says, it’s not a dry hide and seek game, it’s a game of love. I love you, and I’m within you too. So it’s a game of ishq - ishq finding the ishq.
So, there is nobody called Gonzales or Gustav or Daniel. No! It’s just Him; just Him! Just Him! We are on the journey to witness that it is all Him, and then witnessing that the one who is witnessing it’s all Him, is also Him. And that’s when both of them laugh and become one. Because of our separation, we are suffering. So, we must not stay in this state please.
Let’s do meditation. Here, we are going to practice meditation only for a few minutes but for the rest of the day, we should do it many times, for longer periods of time.
Please sit straight and let’s close our eyes.
ਚਿਤ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਕਰਉ ਨੈਨ ਅਵਿਲੋਕਨੋ ਸ੍ਰਵਨ ਬਾਨੀ ਸੁਜਸੁ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਾਖਉ ॥
chit simran kara-o nain avilokano sarvan baanee sujas poor raakha-o.
In my consciousness, I’m remembering You, and with closed eyes I’m going to recognize You within. My eyes, my ears are fully attuned to what is being said. All the hearing energy in my consciousness is being directed towards His utterances which are going to be uttered.
So, down below at the lowest point in our body, we are going to say Wah, and then swiftly come up to the heart area and say Guru there. When we say Guru at the heart area, we should feel the presence of some power; some presence. So please, it is very important that when we come at the heart, we feel a presence there. It could be in the form of pressure, or like some wind is there, or some power is revolving in an anti-clockwise direction.
Fully focused! Get ready! It should be a question of life and death; total resolve that I am not going to live in this painful state of my existence, or at a younger age in a state of deep dream. It should be done with force yet with love.
Wah Guru, Wah Guru, Wah Guru, Wah Guru…….
Please come at the heart area, and feel a presence with the most sensitive subtle consciousness; more focused please. While keeping the word Waheguru in our consciousness, please detect His subtle presence. No thinking at all please; thinking will not let us feel Him. Our consciousness can either think or feel. If it is thinking it cannot feel Him.
ਮਨੁ ਸੁ ਮਧੁਕਰੁ ਕਰਉ ਚਰਨ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਧਰਉ ਰਸਨ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਭਾਖਉ ॥
man so maDhukar kara-o charan hirday Dhara-o rasan amrit raam naam bhaakha-o.
He says my feet, my lotus feet are at your heart area. Feel them, they are alive, full of life, imparting a pleasant, happy feeling.
Please stay at the heart area. Don’t repeat after me as I’m saying, as I say Waheguru, feel him revolving at the heart area in an anti-clockwise direction.
Waheguru, Waheguru, Waheguru, Waheguru…… (singing)
Wonderful lord, Wonderful lord, Wonderful Lord…… (singing)
Feeling grateful to Him.
Waheguru, Waheguru, Waheguru, Waheguru…… (singing)
my Creator, my Lord, my Creator, my Lord………(singing)
Ji, those of us who felt something, or who were feeling something, whatever feeble presence you might feel, could you please say Waheguru. I’m so grateful to Him, and thankful to you for becoming so focused. It happens only with his grace. He makes Himself reveal.
Please stay there while feeling Him.There was a question:
Today, first of all many many sangat have traveled 12, 16, 18 hours from Argentina, from other places to bless us with the precious dust of their feet. We are so heartfelt grateful to them. This sangat from Cochabamba, which is also very far away, and their question was: I feel I am in God. I feel I am of God, but how can I be for God?
I feel I am in God, I feel I am of God, but how can I be for God? Beautiful! Nobody ever asked this question, but this question is so beautiful.
Let us please understand this. The last prayer which we do at the end of Diwan.
too thaakur tum peh ardaas.
It is a hymn which Guru Nanak Dev Ji uttered during his fifth appearance and we sing it together. Remember, when we get up at the end of Diwan, we stand before the Guru Sahib and sing this. We are going to understand what we sing everyday.
too thaakur tum peh ardaas.
jee-o pind sabh tayree raas.
tum maat pitaa ham baarik tayray.
tumree kirpaa meh sookh ghanayray.
We sing his hymn.
too thaakur tum peh ardaas.
He says you are my Lord, you are the Lord of the universe, and I’m praying before You in utter humility.
jee-o pind sabh tayree raas.
This body of mine and this consciousness, which you have blessed me with, belongs to You. It is Your property. You blessed me to use it but it belongs to You. You can take it back anytime you want to. I did not create this body and this consciousness, and neither can I create. It is Your blessing, it is Your property.
tum maat pitaa ham baarik tayray.
Please understand this. You are my father and mother, and I’m your child. I’m born of You, but through my parents. Please understand this. I’m born of You through my parents. So we cannot say that I am born of You, as that beautiful soul who asked this question said I’m born of you. Right now, we are born of Him but through our parents, not directly of Him.
Then He says:
ko-ay na jaanai tumraa ant.
Nobody knows Your limits; You are boundless, infinite.
oochay tay oochaa bhagvant.
You are the highest; You are the highest of the high.
ਸਗਲ ਸਮਗ੍ਰੀ ਤੁਮਰੈ ਸੂਤ੍ਰਿ ਧਾਰੀ ॥
sagal samagree tumrai sutir Dhaaree.
The whole creation is strung on You, as beads are strung on a thread.
tum tay ho-ay so aagi-aakaaree.
Those who are born of You, they obey You, and only they can serve You. Right now we are born of Him, but not directly; we are born of Him but through our parents. Those who are born of You, they obey You. They remain obedient to You, and only they can serve You; only You make them serve You.
When we are born again, we recognize that we are the Divine light and that birth happens directly of God while we are in human bodies. Through rebirth we recognize that we all are Divine lights. In other words, it is all Divine light. In other words, it is all Him.
tumree gat mit tum hee jaanee.
naanak daas sadaa kurbaanee.
So that prayer which we sing at the end of the Diwan everyday, is a prayer to Him, that please make me reborn through You. So, when we pray, when we sing this at the end of the Deewan, we should be very conscious about what we are praying to Him; what we are begging of Him; that please make me be reborn of You.
We are going to go through the rebirth. When we were born from our parents, we were not conscious; we do not remember that birth. But we will remember this rebirth; we will remember because it’s going to happen while we are conscious. So, when we are reborn, then we can say I’m of God, not right now. So my dear hijaa (daughter) from Cochabamba: Right now we cannot say that I’m of Him. We are of Him but through our parents. Through His grace, we are going to be reborn of Him. We would experience being in the womb of God.
So please, all of us should remember that the path which guarantees us rebirth is the route out of the cycle of birth and death to immortality, to become one with God. Rebirth must happen to recognize who we are and merge with God and then we can walk the path confidently knowing that I am on the right path. We don’t have to ask anybody, am I on the right path? We will know from within. Our insides will tell we are on the right path. The answer from within is the right answer; it cannot be wrong.
So, rebirth is going to happen; the True Guru is going to take us through the process of rebirth. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is going to take us, make us experience the rebirth, and then make us recognize ourselves.
So, that’s why this hymn, during His fifth appearance, that I want to be in ishq with my Lord, but how do I meet a True Guru. I have been looking for Him everywhere, if I meet him
ਮੂੰ ਪਿਰੀਆ ਸਉ ਨੇਹੁ ਕਿਉ ਸਜਣ ਮਿਲਹਿ ਪਿਆਰਿਆ ॥
mooN piree-aa sa-o nayhu ki-o sajan mileh pi-aari-aa.
I want to be in ishq with God but how do I meet the True Guru?
ਹਉ ਢੂਢੇਦੀ ਤਿਨ ਸਜਣ ਸਚਿ ਸਵਾਰਿਆ ॥
ha-o dhoodhaydee tin sajan sach savaari-aa.
True Guru is the one from whom the Divine is talking, the Divine is operating, the Divine is teaching, the Divine is guiding.
ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਮੈਡਾ ਮਿਤੁ ਹੈ ਜੇ ਮਿਲੈ ਤ ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ॥
satgur maidaa mit hai jay milai ta ih man vaari-aa.
In this whole wide world, the True Guru is my only true friend who can save me from the cycle of birth and death; who can lead me, take me through the rebirth, and transform me from a mere mortal to immortal.
jay milai ta ih man vaari-aa.
If I meet Him, then He is going to trade this wandering consciousness of mine to a still-full, blissful consciousness.
A new guest has arrived in our city, Guru Granth Sahib ji
Dhaarnaa:
ਨਵਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਾਹੁਣਾ ਇੱਕ, ਆਇਆ ਸਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਨੀ……..ਨਵਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਾਹੁਣਾ
navaaN hee paraaHunaa ik, aa-i-aa saaday shahir nee……..navaaN hee paraaHunaa
Oh my mother, a new guest has arrived in our city. Have you heard that?
ਆਵੇ ਜੋ ਦਰਸਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਬੈਠ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਕੋਲ ਨੀ……ਨਵਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਾਹੁਣਾ
aavay jo darasnaaN noo, baith jaaNdaa kol nee……..navaaN hee paraaHunaa
Whosoever comes to behold Him, he or she comes and sits down before Him.
ਆਪ ਸੁ ਚੁੰਬਕ ਜਾਂ ਚੁੰਬਕ ਉਹਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨੀ……..ਨਵਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਾਹੁਣਾ
aap su chumbak, jaaN chumbak oHday kol nee………navaaN hee paraaHunaa
Either He is a magnet for the consciousness or He has some magnet for the consciousness.
ਛੋਟੀ ਮੋਟੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੱਬ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਝੋਲੀ ਖੈਰ ਨੀ……ਨਵਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਰਾਹੁਣਾ
He doesn’t bless something small. Whosoever comes to Him, He blesses them with God. He gives them God as a gift by making God reveal within themselves.
What a gift He is! He is a blessing to everyone and anyone who comes to Him. God as a free gift! Can you imagine?
