ੴ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥

ਆਦਿ ਸਚੁ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਸਚੁ। ॥ ਹੈ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹੋਸੀ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ॥
samrath guroo sir hath Dhar-ya-o.
Maharaj Ji is telling us that in order to get out of the reincarnation birth and death cycle, we must be reborn out of the True Guru, out of the truth. That would be the real you, the soul.
satgur kai janmay gavan mitaa-i-aa.
anhat raatay ih man laa-i-aa.
Maharaj Ji tells us how to remain lodged in the womb of the True Guru - by hearing the Anhad Shabad. Please understand this - what is Anhad? In the previous deewaan we saw that God is operating as vibrations and Divine light in His creation. In every family of creation, He produces vibrations at different speeds and since sound is produced due to vibrations, every family of creation has a different sound - birds have a different sound, cows have a different sound, horses have a different sound. Please stay focused.
Everything Maharaj Ji creates, He vibrates in that creation at different speeds per second. The minimum speed at which the Divine vibrates is 42 times per second and the maximum speed at which the Divine vibrates is 570 trillion times per second. This is beyond any imagination. Human is the only creation He has created in which all the speeds of vibrations are present. To that Maharaj Ji says:
ਜੋ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡੇ ਸੋਈ ਪਿੰਡੇ ਜੋ ਖੋਜੈ ਸੋ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
jo barahmanday so-ee pinday jo khojai so paavai.
Whatever is in the universe that is in the human body, which means that with whatever speed Maharaj Ji is vibrating in everything, all those speeds are within us. That is why we see people who are able to mimic all kinds of sounds. How can they do that? Because all those sounds are within us.
The harmonium or piano has notes. Every note vibrates at a different speed. Any vibration that is produced on the outside, God has already put that vibration in humans. Different vibrations awaken different parts within us. Different vibrations can be created by pressing the keys of harmonium or piano in different combinations. The singer then sings, synchronizing with those vibrations. Synchronizing means that the vibrations coming out of us are the same as the vibrations coming out of the harmonium. Those who do this, Maharaj Ji says:
ਧੰਨੁ ਸੁ ਰਾਗ ਸੁਰੰਗੜੇ ਆਲਾਪਤ ਸਭ ਤਿਖ ਜਾਇ ॥
Dhan so raag surangrhay aalaapat sabh tikh jaa-ay.
The sound that is produced by pressing the keys of the harmonium or piano contains the Divine power within it. That sound is not dead; it has Divine presence and because of the Divine presence sound is produced.
He says so blessed are the notes. The notes are full of ishq. rang means love, surang means pure love or ishq. Maharaj Ji says that the vibrations created by the musical instruments are vibrations of ishq. By singing those, one becomes peaceful.
ਧੰਨੁ ਸੁ ਰਾਗ ਸੁਰੰਗੜੇ ਆਲਾਪਤ ਸਭ ਤਿਖ ਜਾਇ ॥
Dhan so raag surangrhay aalaapat sabh tikh jaa-ay.
Please feel the vibrations within when we sing. The body should be like a stone so that those vibrations can be detected.
ਧੰਨੁ ਸੁ ਜੰਤ ਸੁਹਾਵੜੇ ਜੋ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਪਦੇ ਨਾਉ ॥
Dhan so jant suhaavrhay jo gurmukh japday naa-o.
He says infinitely beautiful are those who recite His name and feel the vibrations within because those vibrations are also raag.
When we say Waheguru in the street of the present, the entire street of the present oscillates. What happens? It’s because of the vibrations that are produced. He says so beautiful are those who recite and sing the sacred word. Please sing with all the love in us.

Please come to the forehead now in between the eyebrows and see what you feel there.
sahj gufaa meh aasan baaDhi-aa.
jot saroop anaahad vaaji-aa.
Maharaj Ji says the Divine is creating, sustaining, destroying everything while manifesting in two forms - the Divine Light and the Celestial Music.
Please focus completely in between the eyebrows. We will feel the vibrations and divine light. Anhad Shabad is a form of vibrations.
To understand rebirth we have to understand when we were born who we were and what happened when we came into this world. In previous deewaans we saw:

Oh, my friends, if you allow me I want to tell you a story. I don’t know what should be the name of the story; I would leave that up to you.
ਵੱਡੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਚੀਜ ਕੋਈ….ਖੇਡਦੀ ਸੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੰਗ….ਜਿਉਂ…ਖਿਆਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਭੰਗੂੜਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਆ
vadee saaree cheej ko-ee…… khayd-dee see mayray saNg…..jioN khi-aalaaN daa bhaNgoorhaa hundaa aa
When he is so frightened by the world outside, the Divine immediately appears and starts playing with him from the outside. The Divine is so tender, so gentle, so subtle; it feels like a cradle to the child. The child is not aware of the limits of his body but he feels a big thing is touching him, playing with him.
ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਉਂਝ ਹੀ…ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੁੱਖ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਚ’.....ਵੱਖਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ… ਕੋਈ ਚੀਜ ਸਾਂ

When the Divine supports him, touches him, cradles him from the outside, the child feels the same way as if he is in his mother’s womb; that I’m not separate, I’m not alone. For the first 16 days the child does not see anything. From the outside, the Divine makes Himself felt to the child in the form of vibrations, and within He shows him the Divine light in different colors.
ਅੱਤ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਕੋਮਲ ਜਿਹੇ….. ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਜਾਗਦੇ…..ਰੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਮਿੱਕ ਸਾਂ

The light which the child sees with his closed eyes, those colors are not just dead colors, dead light which cannot feel like electricity. Those are the colors of the Divine light which is alive and awake and all those things that Maharaj Ji talks about in Jaap Sahib.

Sometimes He shows the Divine light in the form of waves spreading out, and other times the Divine light becomes a flower, and sometimes the Divine light becomes fireworks.

Guru Amar Das Ji decided to appoint 22 manjees (cots). Just before that Akbar had divided the country into 22 provinces. The fortunate souls who were blessed with a manjee; one of them was Bhai Paaro Jhulkaa from village Dallaa. Everyday Bhai Paaro Jhulkaa Ji took sangat from village Dalla, and crossed river Beas on horseback to have darshan of Maharaj Ji in Goindwaal Sahib. Rain or shine, even if the river was flooded, he never missed visiting Goindwaal Sahib. Maharaj Ji also called him paramhans (param means supreme, and hans means swan; figurative for soul). Allah Yaar Khan was an officer in Akbar’s army. One time he was leading a contingent of troops from Jalandhar to Lahore; when he reached river Beas it was heavily flooded so he stopped. Bhai Paro Jhulkaa Ji came with sangat as usual and crossed the river without any hesitation. Allah Yaar Khan was stunned; he watched Bhai Paaro Jhulka Ji and sangat cross the flooded river like this for four days, back and forth. On the fifth day, he stopped Bhai Paaro Ji and asked him, what is the power with whose support you cross this dangerous flooded river? Bhai Paaro Jhulkaa Ji said, my master is on the other side; it is His power, I don’t have anything. Allah Yaar Khan requested to have darshan of maharaj Ji as well. Bhai Paaro Ji brought Allah Yaar Khan to Maharaj Ji. Maharaj Ji welcomed Allah Yaar Khan very lovingly and blessed him. His consciousness changed so much that he left the job in the army and spent his life spreading the message about this path and the Divine light operating in Goindwaal Sahib. So, one manjee was given to Bhai Paaro Jhulkaa Ji to spread the message about this path of ishq in the Doaba region.

Oh, my mother, this universe is the garden of my Beloved, in which there is the world, He Himself, and me.
ਨੀ ਲੱਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਾਲ ਮਹਿਕਾਂ……ਪੁਸ਼ਪ ਵੰਡਦੇ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਕ ਗੁਲਾਲ

There are flowers on the bushes, and those flowers keep releasing their fragrance, sharing their fragrance with passers by. The same way, you all are becoming flowers who are carrying the fragrance of the Divine, and you too, wherever you pass through, are releasing the fragrance of the Divine. The flowers are laden with the fragrance of ishq!
ਬੇਖਬਰ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਹੋਣ ਰਾਹੀ…..ਉਹ ਹਾਸੇ ਵੰਡਣ ਤੇ ਹੋਣ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ
baykhabar bhaavayN hon raahee……oh haasay vaNdan tay hon kurbaan
Even though we pass by the flowers, engrossed in our own little worlds, they don't care and just keep releasing their fragrances because they have so much to give, so much to share. The same way, wherever you pass by, you don’t care whether the person is a thief or a noble person because it’s your nature to share.
