ੴ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥
॥ ਜਪੁ॥
ਆਦਿ ਸਚੁ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਸਚੁ। ॥ ਹੈ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹੋਸੀ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ॥
Let us please become focused at the forehead in between the eyebrows, and feel the presence of the Divine there.
Yesterday, we sang His utterances:
jo ratay deedaar say-ee sach haak.
ਜਿਨੀ ਜਾਤਾ ਖਸਮੁ ਕਿਉ ਲਭੈ ਤਿਨਾ ਖਾਕੁ ॥
jinee jaataa khasam ki-o labhai tinaa khaak.
ਮਨੁ ਮੈਲਾ ਵੇਕਾਰੁ ਹੋਵੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਕੁ ॥
man mailaa vaykaar hovai sang paak
disai sachaa mahal khulai bharam taak.
ਜਿਸਹਿ ਦਿਖਾਲੇ ਮਹਲੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਨ ਮਿਲੈ ਧਾਕੁ ॥
jisahi dikhaalay mahal tis na milai Dhaak.
ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਹਾਲੁ ਬਿੰਦਕ ਨਦਰਿ ਝਾਕੁ ॥
man tan ho-ay nihaal bindak nadar jhaak
ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸਬਦਿ ਲਾਗੁ ॥
na-o niDh naam niDhaan gur kai sabad laag.
Maharaj Ji says, while keeping the sacred word in your consciousness, become focused and feel My presence. I will come, and with me shall come all kinds of real treasures of virtues, real wealth.
ਤਿਸੈ ਮਿਲੈ ਸੰਤ ਖਾਕੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਜਿਸੈ ਭਾਗੁ ॥
tisai milai sant khaak mastak jisai bhaag.
In Gurbani, wherever the word sant (ਸੰਤ) comes, is there is an aunkarh (Gurmukhi symbol, a horizontal line below the letter which indicated a short u sound) below the last letter of a noun, e.g. as in ਸੰਤ , that means it is singular and special - it refers to Guru or the Divine. If there is no aunkarh, as in ਸੰਤ then it means sadhsangat, the holy congregation. Here it means sadhsangat.
What is the meaning of sangat?
satsangat kaisee jaanee-ai.
jithai ayko naam vakhaanee-ai.
He says sangat is where only His praises are sung and nothing else is talked about.
ਤਿਸੈ ਮਿਲੈ ਸੰਤ ਖਾਕੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਜਿਸੈ ਭਾਗੁ ॥
tisai milai sant khaak mastak jisai bhaag.
He says all the above happens to those who are thirsty of the dust of the feet of holy congregation; means those who are longing, desiring so deeply to become egoless. He says that the treasures I’m talking about are bestowed upon those who don’t have ego; who feel so blessed to receive the dust of the feet of holy congregation. So, please we should not look at the face and recognize who is who. We should look at these blessed feet who have brought that person to the Guru’s court, and who are carrying the mansion of the Lord.
The day we recognize what is this body and the consciousness, it would be clearly revealed to us that it is Him. It is Him!
ਹਰਣਾਖੀ ਕੂ ਸਚੁ ਵੈਣੁ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਜੋ ਤਉ ਕਰੇ ਉਧਾਰਣੁ ॥
harnaakhee koo sach vain sunaa-ee jo ta-o karay uDhaaran.
vain means something that comes from the depths of the heart.
harnaakhee means deer eyed; an eye which is very fixed and does not move.
He says oh you, the deer eyed one, listen to me, what I’m going to say is coming from the depth of my heart. Eye of the deer is very fixed; he blinks his eyes after a long time; his eyes remain fixed outside. He says your eyes have become fixed on the world outside and you have been robbed. The world has hijacked you; the world has hijacked your eyes; listen to me.
ਹਰਣਾਖੀ ਕੂ ਸਚੁ ਵੈਣੁ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਜੋ ਤਉ ਕਰੇ ਉਧਾਰਣੁ ॥
harnaakhee koo sach vain sunaa-ee jo ta-o karay uDhaaran.
I’m telling you something that is coming out of My heart, which will save you. He says, these utterances coming out of My heart can save you; listen to Me.
ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਚਨ ਤੁਮ ਸੁਣਹੁ ਛਬੀਲੀ ਪਿਰੁ ਤੈਡਾ ਮਨ ਸਾਧਾਰਣੁ ॥
sundar bachan tum sunhu chhabeelee pir taidaa man saaDhaaran.
chhabeelee means beautiful
You are actually very beautiful. But the beauty you are showing to the world is really not beauty. You are announcing to the world that you are for sale. That is not beauty. If we put ourselves for sale, that’s no beauty.
You are actually really beautiful. Listen. My utterances are beautiful too.
pir taidaa man saaDhaaran.
He loves you so much and His love is undivided; He dwells in your house. If He would love someone else, His love would be divided so He loves you wholly, fully.
He says outside you are looking for support to lean on, support to show the world that you have this and that, support of beauty, support of money, support of power, and so on. But the one who loves you, His support is unparalleled. Outside no one can make you feel peaceful, no one can give you the support to make your consciousness still and peaceful. He dwells within you and He will make your consciousness still by keeping it united with His Lotus Feet and you will feel rested; for the first time you will know what being rested and peaceful feels like. Outside, the consciousness is running all the time; you don’t even know how to pause and be still. What kind of life is this, that the consciousness keeps wandering aimlessly and then one day just leaves this body.
The eye is hijacked by the mind and the mind only knows lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride; mind has nothing to do with God. When He is saying: you are deer-eyed - it means that the mind is looking through your eye, mind is occupying your eyes. He says, let me occupy your eyes and you will see something so beautiful everywhere.

ਜਨਮਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਾਰ……ਤੂੰ ਉਹਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਸ ਰੱਖੀਂ
janamaaN janamaaN daa jihrhaa yaar…….tooN oHday naal raas rakheeN
Your true friend who has been with you every lifetime, and is with you right now, please recognize Him as your best friend.
ਆਣ ਨੈਣਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਰੂ ਉਹ ਕਬਜਾ….ਤੁੰ ਨੈਣਾ ਚ’ ਪਿਆਸ ਰੱਖੀਂ
aan nainaaN tay karoo oh kabjaa……tooN nainaaN ch pi-aas rakheeN
Keep the longing, the thirst in your eyes and He will come and occupy these eyes.

akhree likhan bolan baan.
akhraa sir sanjog vakhaan.
Maharaj Ji says we are surrounded by words all the time. The words being spoken by us, by others, the words arising within us; those who get to recognize the worth of the words, or unworthiness of the words, the direction of their lives change right away.
ਦੁਰਜਨ ਸੇਤੀ ਨੇਹੁ ਰਚਾਇਓ ਦਸਿ ਵਿਖਾ ਮੈ ਕਾਰਣੁ ॥
durjan saytee nayhu rachaa-i-o das vikhaa mai kaaran.
He says show me, why have you fallen in love with your mind when you are supposed to be in ishq with the Divine. Tell me the reason, show me the reason. Show me, tell me, how the mind is more precious than the Divine.
ਊਣੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਝੂਣੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਿਸੈ ਵਿਹੂਣੀ ॥
oonee naahee jhoonee naahee naahee kisai vihoonee.
oonee means to be not filled.
You are full with the Divine. There was no reason to be sad because the Divine, the ishq, the laughter, the true happiness, the celebration, the humility, and all that - that is right there in your house. Had you known this you would have never become sad. You are not lacking anything; you are not deficient of anything. You keep begging for love outside, trying to get others' attention, making yourself a beggar. You are ishq, what are you begging others for?
ਪਿਰੁ ਛੈਲੁ ਛਬੀਲਾ ਛਡਿ ਗਵਾਇਓ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਕਰਮਿ ਵਿਹੂਣੀ ॥
pir chhail chhabeelaa chhad gavaa-i-o durmat karam vihoonee.
The one who loves you is the most beautiful, is the most fascinating. Your Beloved is so beautiful, so fascinating, and you abandoned Him.

ਪਿਰੁ ਛੈਲੁ ਛਬੀਲਾ ਛਡਿ ਗਵਾਇਓ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਕਰਮਿ ਵਿਹੂਣੀ ॥
pir chhail chhabeelaa chhad gavaa-i-o durmat karam vihoonee.
Because you always obeyed, followed your mind, and never did anything which was not done out of ego; that’s why you are where you are today.
Dhaarnaa: (at 42:16)
ਸੁਣ ਵੇ ਮਨਾ ਨਹੀਓਂ…… ਇੰਝ ਵੇ ਕਰੀਦਾ
sun vay manaa nahee-oN injh vay kareedaa
ਹੋਠਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਲ ਚੰਨਾ…… ਅਲੱਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਿਦਾ
hothaaN naaloN dil chaNnaa……. alag nahee kareedaa
Maharaj Ji is saying whatever I’m saying is coming right out of My heart; My lips are connected to My heart and your lips are connected to your mind. You are My daughter and you are supposed to be like Me.
In anybody’s eyes there can be either mind or heart. Either the mind would look out of our eyes, or the heart would look out of our eyes. If the heart looks out of our eyes, then it’s all Divine.
ਅੱਖਰ ਉਹਦੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੇ……ਨੈਣ ਮਿੱਠੇ ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਦੇ
akhar oHday geetaaN day nay……nain mithay sajanaaN day
His words are His sweet eyes in which you can see His heart, because His utterances are coming from His heart.
ਇਸ ਨਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ….ਪੀਣੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੰਗੀਦਾ
is nadar noo dil naal….. peeno nahee saNgeedaa
His words are His sweet, beautiful, ishqful eyes, and we should drink His vision with our hearts - means that when we see the words of Gurbaanee, the heart drinks the ishq coming from the words.
ਹੋਠਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਅਲੱਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਿਦਾ
hothaaN naaloN dil noo……. alag nahee kareedaa

Maharaj Ji is teaching us how to live life. If we remember His utterances, what He said yesterday, that means when we met Him yesterday, we remember the conversation from yesterday when we met Him. We only remember two kinds of things - that bring happiness or suffering. Anything that does not bring happiness or suffering is not remembered; that’s why when we are in the world, the interactions are very superficial; it does not bring any happiness or pain and nothing is remembered - how are you? I am fine. Neither anyone asked from the heart nor we told them our true feelings. It’s like a machine which has been programmed to say Good Morning or Fateh when we reach work in the morning. If we say Fateh with awareness; that you are the Divine light and this realization, this victory, is going to happen with His grace. If one has this awareness, then the direction of their life would immediately change. One would be shocked that all my life I kept telling others that they were divine and this realization is going to happen with His grace, and they kept telling me the same thing, but I never heard it.
We are to hear what He is telling us and see that it gives us peace, and remember it. Even when we are in the world, we should only say words that bring happiness to others; something they can remember. Maharaj Ji teaches us every day that one should only say words that are purposeful, deep and can give direction to life. Talking about futile things is a waste of life. Whoever we talk to, wherever we are, we should only say something that is purposeful.
Life is going by so fast. We must take every moment very seriously. Maximize the time in sangat. The hukam is to come to His court at least two times - once in the morning during Amrit Vaylaa and then in the evening. Whenever we remember Maharaj Ji, whenever we open Gutkaa Sahib for prayers, or read Guru Granth Sahib Ji, our destination is calling us. We have to reach that destination; it is most important. We don’t have to leave other things; our heart should be in reaching our true destination.
We can see that when we are united with Him we are alive, life is beautiful and time goes by so quickly. We must do sangat. When we are driving, put on keertan, kathaa, or sing a line of Gurbaanee yourself - what a beautiful arrangement He has made for us. Whether we use that arrangement or not is up to us. You bring me the dust of your feet every day and it continues to increase the my debt towards you. There is no way to pay it off; the debt keeps increasing.
Now, to our beloved ones who could not be present here physically.

Oh the wind passing by here, going towards my dear friends, please give them my respects.
ਨਿੱਤ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਖੈਰਾਂ….ਵੇਲੇ ਸੁਬਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਆਖਣਾ
nit maNg-day haaN tayree-aaN khairaaN……vaylay subah shaam aakhanaa
ਤੋਰ ਫਕੀਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ…ਸੁਣਿਆ ਉਹ ਤੁਰਦਾ
tor fakeeraaN vaalee…..suni-aa oh turdaa
I have heard that the way of his life is the life of those who are in ishq with the Divine.
ਇਸ਼ਕੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਹਾਏ…..ਵਾਸਾ ਉਹਦਾ ਸੁਣੀਦਾ
ishkay day pind haa-ay….vaasaa oHdaa suneedaa
I have heard that his gait, that way of life, has taken him to the village of ishq. I wish I was there!
ਉਹਦੀ ਤੋਰ ਨੂੰ….ਪਿਆਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਗਾਮ ਆਖਣਾ
oHdee tor noo….. pi-aaraaN daa paihgaam aakhanaa
Please give him my love, my heartfelt message, for his way of life
ਸਾਡੇ ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡਾ ਸਲਾਮ ਆਖਣਾ
saaday sajanaa noo saadaa salaam aakhanaa

We should recognize how blessed we are and take the Name of our Beloved Father, Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, to the entire world. ਗੁਰੂ ਬਿਨਾ ਗਤਿ ਨਹੀਂ (guru binaa gat nahee) - gat means freedom from the mind, to become your true self, but it is impossible without the Guru. How blessed we are! So many people in the world do not have a Guru. We owe it to our dear Father to introduce Him to the rest of the world. He is not just ours; He is everyone’s Father. It is our responsibility to light up our homes and business for the entire month of November, give sweets to our neighbors and friends, and share with them Maharaj Ji’s utterances.
ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਹੈ ਸੋਇ||
sabh meh jot jot hai soi
Tell them we are one; real brothers and sisters. What type of life we can introduce to the whole world because of Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He says that the whole of humanity are real brothers and sisters, not just neighbors or countrymen.

manaavaaNgay baablay daa aa-ounaa…..tay hazaaray vaalaa days
We’ll celebrate the coming of Maharaj Ji and also our knowing of the village of ishq because of Maharaj Ji. He told us where Takht Hazaara is - the village of ishq - what is the way, how to get there, and who is going to go along with us. Then He tells us where His mansion is in the village, and where His throne is in the mansion.
