2687 - Khajana Darshan March 30, 2024 – France

ੴ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਨਿਰਵੈਰੁ ਅਕਾਲ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਅਜੂਨੀ ਸੈਭੰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ॥

॥ ਜਪੁ॥

ਆਦਿ ਸਚੁ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਸਚੁ॥  ਹੈ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹੋਸੀ ਭੀ ਸਚੁ॥

Please feel at the heart area. If we are focused enough, humble enough, beggar enough, receptive enough, awaiting enough, trusting enough, then He never disappoints us; then we would feel a subtle movement. It’s not anybody’s fault, it’s because all of the prophets appeared in the east and that’s the reason the west is more mind oriented. In the west, they call it energy, which is such a disgrace, such an insult to the Divine. It’s just energy; my heart chakra has not opened, the energy has not opened. Please we must wake up and remain awake that He is the creator of this infinite universe; the runner whose kingdom is an infinite kingdom.

I don’t know how we can beg Him to forgive us. But He’s not a man, He forgives us only when He sees that we have realized our foolishness and we won’t repeat that any longer. He sees us totally; if He sees that we will do the same thing again, then no.

Feel the subtle movement of the Divine, just waving gently - yes, I am within you, always waiting for you.

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਬੂਝਿ ਲੇ ਤਉ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਬੇਰਾ ॥

gur parsaadee boojh lay ta-o ho-ay nibayraa.

If you come to know by the Guru’s grace then you can be set free, liberated.

What to come to know? My beloved Guru, what am I supposed to know?

ਘਰਿ ਘਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨਾ ਸੋ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥

ghar ghar naam niranjanaa so thaakur mayraa.

That everybody whom you are looking at as bodies, they are not just bodies, it’s God. It’s God walking around, it’s God sitting, it’s God thinking, it’s God listening, it’s God talking, it’s God - it’s just Him! But just listening to the words I have said is not going to make any difference. You have to recognize that it’s all God.

When we are in our minds and we try to look for Him, would He appear before the mind? (Baba Ji laughs). We are in the blind well and He is outside, free! How can we see Him? When we look outside, we are going to see the walls of the well; all these bodies are walls of the well.

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦ ਨ ਛੂਟੀਐ ਦੇਖਹੁ ਵੀਚਾਰਾ ॥

bin gur sabad na chhootee-ai daykhhu veechaaraa.

Maharaj Ji says, ponder over what I’m saying. Without the true Guru, and without His blessing of the sacred word, you cannot get out of the blind well.

He doesn’t argue with anyone.

When we are blessed with Amrit, that’s when He takes our responsibility, that you would be saved. In this lifetime, Maharaj Ji? That depends on you. I’m going to be the captain of the ship, and you have to be the engine, so it depends on you.

ਜੇ ਲਖ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵਹੀ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਅੰਧਿਆਰਾ ॥

jay lakh karam kamaavahee bin gur anDhi-aaraa.

If you say I don’t do any wrong deeds so I will be freed; Maharaj Ji says, think about it, does the whole world do bad deeds? There are many good people out there in the world. Do they make it out of the blind well? Maharaj Ji says you may do millions of noble deeds, but without the Guru, you would remain in the blind well; you would remain in delusion, you would remain in jail, you would remain in the cycle of birth and death; you would remain in the domain of mind which is stress, worries, fear, insecurity.

Dhaarnaa:

ਪਿਆਸੀ ਪਿਆਸੀ ਰੂਹ ਮੇਰੀ…..ਰੁੱਖੀ ਸੁੱਕੀ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਚ’....ਲੱਭਣ ਆਈ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਸਉਣ

pi-aasee pi-aasee rooH mayree……rukhee sukee dunee-aa ch……labhan aa-ee kiHrhaa soun

My soul, so intensely hungry, I wonder which rainy season she is looking for in this world. And now, He’s showing the rainy season; the blessing rain.

ਨੈਣੋਂ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ..... ਹੌਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਸੁਣੇ....ਸੌਖਾ ਨਹੀਓ ਸੱਜਣਾ ਦਾ ਪਾਉਣ

nainooN digay hanjhoo-aaN noo…..houkay aj kahiNday sunay……soukhaa nahee-o sajnaaN daa pa-oun

Maharaj Ji says:

ਧਰਣਿ ਸੁਵੰਨੀ ਖੜ ਰਤਨ ਜੜਾਵੀ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਮਨਿ ਵੁਠਾ ॥

Dharan suvannee kharh ratan jarhaavee har paraym purakh man vuthaa.

Maharaj Ji says I am Prem Purakh - the one who is all ishq. When He appears within us, the human body looks so beautiful; the hairs on it look like jewels - jewels of dewdrops hanging from the grass leaves. How beautiful! Dewdrops of jewels hanging from the hair!

ਸਭੇ ਕਾਜ ਸੁਹੇਲੜੇ ਥੀਏ ਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਤੁਠਾ ॥

sabhay kaaj suhaylrhay thee-ay gur naanak satgur tuthaa.

He says when the Divine becomes convinced with your ishq for Him, then He becomes utterly merciful to us and all our affairs become so easy. Which affairs? The affairs to be taken care of within.

When He becomes convinced with our ishq, then He becomes so merciful, that without us even sitting in meditation, even when we are standing, working, eating, sleeping, He is taking our consciousness upwards towards His mansion.

ਤਰਸ ਪਵੇ ਨਾਲੇ…….. ਮਨ ਮੰਨੇ ਉਹਦਾ ਲੋਕੋਂ….ਕਾਜ…….. ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਸੁਹੇਲੜੇ ਹੋਣ

ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ……ਦਿੱਲ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਨ ਸਾਰੇ…..ਤੂਹੀਓ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ…ਭਾਦਰੋਂ ਤੇ ਸਉਣ

tayray charnaaN day vich…..dil day sakoon saaray……tooNhee-o hee mayraa……bhaadroN tay soun

Oh my beloved, right in your lotus feet, there are all kinds of contentment, peace. You, yourself are the rainy season for me. Your presence, to be in your presence is to be in the rainy season, season of His grace.

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਬੂਝਿ ਲੇ ਤਉ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਬੇਰਾ ॥

ਜੇ ਲਖ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵਹੀ ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਅੰਧਿਆਰਾ ॥

jay lakh karam kamaavahee bin gur anDhi-aaraa.

ਅੰਧੇ ਅਕਲੀ ਬਾਹਰੇ ਕਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਸਿਉ ਕਹੀਐ ॥

anDhay aklee baahray ki-aa tin si-o kahee-ai.

How beautiful! He says those who are in the blind well, who are living out of the blind well - means that they are living while their consciousness is stationed at the lowest point; He says those who are living in the blind well have to be blind, and they are unwise people. They are blind and they are unwise. What can I say to them? Maharaj Ji is saying that sometimes somebody removes oneself so far away from God that even God gives up on them.

ਬਿਨੁ ਗੁਰ ਪੰਥੁ ਨ ਸੂਝਈ ਕਿਤੁ ਬਿਧਿ ਨਿਰਬਹੀਐ ॥

bin gur panth na soojh-ee kit biDh nirabahee-ai.

Without the Guru, no one can know the path of ishq to our Beloved.

Scary, just scary! He says that if one is blind and unwise, how can they reach the destination without the Guru? See His compassion! Even though in frustration He says I give up on you, in the next breath He says meet the true Guru. How beautiful! Meet the true Guru. He would show you the path of ishq. Without Him, where are you going to end up?

Maharaj Ji is telling us how one becomes fortunate enough that his destiny becomes beautiful. The word destiny comes from destination and Maharaj Ji is telling us that if your destination is right, only then your destiny is going to be fortunate. If your destination is not clear, if your destination is not true; one’s destination can be money today, but because the destination is not true, he can be after a chair tomorrow. The whole thing starts with making choices.

Dhaarnaa:

ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮਹਿਕਣਾ ਜੇ….. ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਲਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੇ….

fullaaN vaaNgooN mahikanaa jay……vich gulzaar day……

ਕੰਢਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਤੂੰ….ਹੱਸ ਕੇ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰ ਦੇ

kaNdhi-aaN day naal vee tooN……has kay gulzaar day 

If you want to be fragrant in this world, then just smile at the thorns too. Don’t scorn them, be more gentle to them; they need your touch.

Ji our children are our responsibilities. Our first responsibility is towards us. If our destination is not true then how can we lead anyone rightly. So, our lives should be examples for our children; our discipline and values should be an example for them. This is the best way to teach them something beautiful.

ਆਪਣੀ ਉਦਾਹਰਣ ਨਾਲ…ਸੰਜਮ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨਾਲ….

aapnee udaaHran naal….saNjam anushaasan naal

As they become of the age of understanding, we should teach them that useless talk is harmful to us and others too. Whenever we say something, it should be of some value, it should carry some weight, it should have truth in it, it should have compassion in it. Also teach them not to waste money, not to become miser either. Money is to be spent but not to waste it recklessly.

Anusaashan means discipline. Sanjam is to do or use something wisely.

ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਈਏ ਐਸੀ……ਜੇ ਵੇ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਚਾਲ

saNtaan noo sikhaa-ee-ay aisee…..jay vay mubaarak chaal

If we teach our children this way, the blessed way of life.

Then what happens? We will see that tomorrow. For now, let’s do this much.

Dhaarnaa (end)

This letter is from a daughter of mine. She writes: No words Baba Ji to express my gratefulness to the Divine that He has made it possible for me to attend this trip. This daughter of mine is from America. Feel so much lighter, alive, floating and don’t even feel my body. This is true, this is how we become. The weight is of our stress and worries. What used to give worry now doesn’t even cross the mind as a full thought. It gets interrupted by the surety that Maharaj Ji will take care of that. 

We must feel grateful for every act of His grace. All the time, He is showering us with His grace.

Then she says: I thank Him for this opportunity, for opening my eyes to the truth, for the treasures of love and truth. The gift of all those treasures and we will hold those on to, with all our might. So thankful for all the help from my sister-friends, all the help from their veechar discussions, singing together, pushing me towards the right direction, and holding my hand if I slow down on the path. This all is happening with God’s grace.

Then she wrote this dhaarnaa which means: Oh, my mother, I saw my beloved’s love for me today. When I recognized my beloved’s love for me today, compassion for me today, I started crying.

ਅੱਜ ਰੋ ਪਈ ਸਾਂ……ਨੀ ਮਾਏ……ਪਿਆਰ ਵੇਖ….. ਸੱਜਣਾਂ ਦਾ

aj ro pa-ee saaN……..nee maa-ay….pi-aar vaykh…. sajanaaN daa

Tomorrow, there’s going to be Amrit Sanchaar. Sanchaar means to irrigate. Amrit is the Divine nectar. Amrit Sanchaar is to irrigate our insides with the Divine nectar by making us drink that, and washing our eyes, making our eyes capable of recognizing Him, and in the head to open the door to His mansion.
